Zinc

Zinc is an easy-to-melt metal that stands out for its extraordinary anti-corrosion properties. It is brittle at normal temperatures. At temperatures of 100-150°C, ductility increases and it is further rolled into sheets or processed by drawing into wires. The specific gravity is 7.1 kg/cm3.

Application: construction (roofing materials in combination with a small titanium content). Surface anti-corrosion treatment – hot-dip galvanizing in a bath or application of metal by spraying molten zinc (metallization). Casting of zinc alloys of the Zamak type into molds and production of castings.

From stock, we offer wires for metallization (Zn, ZnAl15) in the entire range of diameters from 1.6 to 3.0 mm.
